Office Visits
We are proud of our office here at E Line Orthodontics. Patients are the heart of our practice, so it makes sense that we would go out of our way to provide comfortable waiting and treatment areas complete with the types of amenities you would expect from an upscale orthodontic office in Frisco and surrounding cities. Our office is filled with state of the art diagnostic and orthodontic treatment technology to ensure accuracy and early detection of oral complications. We believe our patients deserve only the best, and our staff works hard to deliver a superior experience at every visit.
Consultation
On your first visit to our office, Dr. Chang will carefully examine the teeth and orofacial structures to determine your orthodontic needs and provide treatment options. Then, our treatment coordinator will explain the available options, estimated time and cost of the treatment. You’ll understand everything you need to know in order to decide whether to proceed with treatment.
Records Appointment
After your dental exam, if you decide to proceed with treatment, records are then made to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, study models of the teeth, photos of the patient’s face and teeth, and x-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan that addresses the unique needs of each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
Bonding/Regular Appointments
After the records appointment, we’ll be ready to schedule the appointment to get your new appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) placed. Getting appliances placed usually takes one to two hours. You’ll then see us at regular intervals four to eight weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes about 30-45 minutes.
Patients are seen by appointment basis only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
Patient Forms
We know that your time is valuable. That’s why we offer a simplified office experience with online patient forms that you can complete prior to your appointment. You’ll spend less time in the waiting area, streamlining your initial visit. These forms help us better understand your background, allowing us to provide you with the most effective care possible. As always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about patient forms or your appointment.
